Truancy (review from back of book)

In an alternate wourld, in a nameless totalitarian city, the autocratic Mayro rules the school system with an iron fist, witht the help of his Educators. Fighting against the Mayor and his repressive Educators is a group of former studaents called the Truancy, whose goal is to take down the system by any means possible--at any cost....

Against this backdrop, fifteen year old Tack is just trying to survive. His days are filled with sadistic teachers, unrelenting schoolwork, and indifferent parents. Things start to look up when he meets Umasi, a mysterious boy who runs a lemonade stand in an uninhabited district, who eventually becomes Tack's mentor.

Then someone close to Tack gets killed in the cross fire between the Educators and the Truants, and tack vows to avenge her. He joins the Truancy in order to kill Zyid, the enigmatic leader of the Truancy, who dismissed the death as "collateral damage." But tack soon finds himself torn between his desire for vengeance and his growing sympathy for the Truants.

Thios book was action packed, and something i could never dream up and write about. I loved this book. It had tons of action, and serious things all at once (if that makes sence :) ) I rate this book 10/10. I have never rread anything as adventrous as this. And get this!!!! A 16 year old wrote it!!!! A little over 430 paged book made by a 16 year old would be soemthing i wouldnt really want to read. I was thinking there would be mess ups, and silly things i wouldnt want to read about. But that changed as soon as i read the first page!!!! You have to read this!!!
